member of CMS is one way of
joining in world mission.

One way that you can join in the task of world mission is by becoming a member of CMS. CMS members are committed to seeing lives transformed by Christ around the world. They are CMS; sending missionaries with their prayers, pastoral care and financial support.

As a CMS member you will receive regular news so you can keep in touch and pray in an informed way. You are asked to commit yourself before God to pray regularly for CMS missionaries, to keep informed, to encourage missionaries and to support the wider work of CMS as you are able.

To become a member you need to indicate that you agree with the principles and object of CMS by returning a completed application form to your nearest branch. You can download the form here.

CMS principles

• Follow God’s leading.
• Put money in second place, not first.
• Begin in a small way.
• Under God, all will depend on the type of people sent out.
• Look for success only from the Spirit of God.

The object of CMS is:

To work for the coming of God’s Kingdom through the proclamation of the gospel of Christ throughout the world in fellowship with local churches.
